NYU MBA - 2012 Application and Deadlines

NYU MBA Application Deadlines and Essay questions for Fall 2012 are now available online.

The NYU MBA Application Essays are the same as last year, and the NYU Deadlines are out as well - again, first round in mid November, 2nd in January and the 3rd in March. The online application itself isn't available yet, but should be up by mid-august.


Quick tips for your NYU's "Personal Expression:Please describe yourself to your MBA classmates. You may use almost any method to convey your message". 


1. Don't repeat information included in your essays, resume or recommendation letter if you can avoid this. Add new information that will share additional aspects of your personality, life and experience.

2. Format and content are both important so make sure to balance them; You can't submit links but can submit any digital format. NYU MBA Admissions will value the effort, creativity and energy spent on this essay, but don't neglect the other ones.

3. If you decide to write instead of creating something physical/digital, take a creative spin on it.. Go wild and show your personality. Remember - this is downtown New York City, so you can be funny, casual and yourself.

4. Stick to the basics - I've seen many successful applicants who just wrote a basic essay about themselves or submitted a few pictures with descriptions.
